I can't believe I got more, and better pictures of this orange fella today. He came back around the same time today, and I was ready. I had my camera set so it would take multiple pictures as long as I held the button down, and I now have 134 pictures of him. A friend suggested I contact the Audobon, so I sent them an email yesterday too. I feel like in the bottom picture he is waving to me. :)  Many people have told me there is no such thing as an orange cardinal, but I've seen one and was not able to get a picture of it until yesterday! These are not the best pictures because they are through glass and were taken quick because it never stays around long, but, here it is! The Orange Cardinal.  I was finally able to capture these pictures of this adult femal cardinal in our back yard. She's been around for awhile but I've never had my camera when she comes to visit....until now. I found out that if a cardinal has a black bill, it is a juvenile, and an orange bill is an adult.
